Tinkoff Bank - Shared Expenses with New Mobile Interface

Context.

Tinkoff Bank, a leading online bank in Russia, faced a problem where its users were finding it challenging to split the amount of a purchase between their friends. For example, a group of people would go to a restaurant together, and one person would pay the bill, but then the group would struggle to divide the amount equally. Additionally, the users were finding it difficult to keep track of their shared expenses, leading to confusion and disputes.

Idea.

To address this problem, we decided to create a new interface for its mobile application that would enable its users to split the amount of a purchase between friends with the option to display a list of purchases from a shared account. We worked on a user-friendly UI/UX design that would allow users to quickly split the bill with their friends by selecting the appropriate contacts and the amount to be split. Additionally, the app would maintain a record of all shared expenses, enabling users to keep track of their spending.

Impact.

With our new mobile app design, users can now easily and accurately split the cost of purchases with friends, eliminating confusion and disputes. Additionally, our shared expense tracker has made it simpler for users to keep track of shared expenses, reducing the risk of miscommunication and errors.
